Our goal is for Valley Children's Museum to be created by the people, for the people, of the Tri-Valley and its surrounding communities. We believe that a community-based museum must reflect the true diversity and scope of the area in which it resides.
Our Board of Directors includes men and women - mothers, fathers, grandparents - from throughout the Tri-Valley. We have brought together experienced, passionate people who volunteer their time and expertise to make the museum happen.
Our Advisory Board continues to grow, with representatives from the Tri-Valley and the surrounding communities. The Advisory Board is made up of community and business leaders, elected officials, and media who believe in our desire to open doors as quickly as possible. Together, we will leave a legacy for the youth in the Tri-Valley.Valley Children's Museum will serve as a unique and fully accessible resource that will provide a creative space for children, families, educators and parent groups to learn about their world and each other. We are committed to continually involving community members, organizations and schools not only in the development of the museum's plans and exhibit ideas, but also through our outreach and volunteer programs established for both youths and seniors.
